Pitta: embodies the transformative nature of Fire energy.
Kapha: reflects the binding nature of Water energy
HUMAN BODY ELEMENTS
According to Ayurveda everything in the universe is made up of these five great elements, Pancha Mahabhutas:Space, Air, Fire, Water and Earth.
Each of these elements offers unique qualities to our experience of living. And together, they are the basis for our connection with everything around us.
PRANAYAMA
“Prana” means breath and “ayama” means pause or retention. Hence, pranayama literally means retention of breath.
Creating a balance of energies through which our vitality is extended and our breath is deepened.
